Have a very light weight bed spread. Love it. Anyone know of a very light weight pattern? Prob the lighter weight the better. Thanks.

A light weight quilt would have a thin batting. The backing would probably be muslin.
The fewer seams the less fabric, hence less weight. So, for the top either use really large pieces, or use a large single piece of fabric. So, the center, the part that is directly on the mattress and not hanging down the sides, could be one dramatic piece of fabric. Put a couple of border strips on each side until the top is wide enough and long enough for your liking.
If you are going to do a lot of quilting, you could make a whole cloth quilt. The above, one piece with borders to make it big enough. But, you would use all white, or white with pale pastel borders. It is meant to show off your great quilting.
