This morning. It won't stay, temps in the 40's for the next week. I guess this is not real news. This is normal for northern MN. Just letting you all know how lucky you all have it.

We have still had warm and humid temperatures here in SE Ohio. In September we had 9 inches of rain which is not normal! Last night it rained and this morning it is much cooler. Our leaves are not even changing yet.

There's a very light dusting on the deck this morning, but nowhere else. It's pretty but it's not going to last here, either. We're supposed to be in the 60's next week. We were in the 80's two weeks ago. I kind of love living in a place where you can cycle through all four seasons in a short amount of time. I like variety.
And just as with northern Minnesota, October snow isn't unheard of or even unusual for northern Wisconsin - Cranberry Fest is this weekend and I've seen snow flurries Cranberry Fest weekend in past years.

56 outside this morning...I know it's going to be a bad winter, I feel it in my bones. I have my yak tracks still on my snow boots from last year. Leaves are starting to change color a bit and falling off. Ya' know, time really does go faster when we get older.

Saw that frecast the other night when we were having an unGodly warm 84º which came close to the record. Next morning it was 42º, exactly half. We ended up with more rain that we didn't need to add to the 15" above normal. Second time in 55 years with water in the basement.

We are going to be in the 80's most of next week. Think I will plan a beach day with the grandchildren!

It's been raining here for almost a week, but that is a welcomed thing after several months with no rain to speak of. Highs in the 50's and lows in the 40's. Snow is just around the corner, but I pray it doesn't happen until the leaves fall from the trees. Don't want a repeat of Oct 2015.
