It's noon Friday and the temperature is 51° Picture taken today Copper Canyon is the last color pop of the year although salvia greggi is still blooming Mexican mint marigold

Scientists are finding that Monarchs are going north but do not go south. They do not know a reason .

Most Mexican migrants go north and not south. Better living conditions and less violence to the north.

It's a marigold. Copper Canyon daisy (Tagetes lemmonii) grows wild in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona and northern Mexico, but it goes very well with native-Texas plants in Hill Country gardens. Has an awesome fragrance.
