Wife asked me to build her an arbor fo her sweet autumn clematis vines back at the woods edge. Aside from the decking, all the materials came from my goody pile and were repurposed into this "she shack". With my 10% military discount the whole project cost $86 bucks for the decking material. Nice little win-win project 🙂

That's so charming! I have a gazebo in my yard, designed and built by my Dad. I've been thinking of running some wires up for trumpet vines., which are really not invasive where I live, or morning glories, since the AM sun makes it very warm in there.

I picked that pair of adirondack chairs off the curb that were out in someone's trash. They were weathered but solid and in perfect condition. After scrubbing them down with wood bleach the cedar looked brand new. Needing an arbor (the old one collapsed), my wife designed it with the chairs in mind - she thanks you for the comments! Living back in the sticks surrounded by deep woods - the rustic look fits. Aesthetically though, it's a bit unbalanced looking without much growth attached to it, but come September, it'll look better after the Trellis gets covered by vines and flowers. I'll post a pic after it blooms.

You two are so blessed. Those clematis vines are going to cover that structure, can't wait to see it. They are something to see when they flower.
