We grew kennebec potatoes. 2 rows 25 feet long. 75 lbs of potatoes. Is this a good yield or no?
I think we might double up on those next year.

When we grew potatoes I noticed our yields varied, even with the same variety. We rotated, but used the same areas.

I generally don't weigh anymore but I figure I want 4-7 medium to large Reds from each plant, and on the Yukons, at least that much and more. This will be my first harvest in the raised beds, with severe Jap. Beetle pressure, and being planted 2 months later (normally April-May and this year all in June due to the arrival and installation of the beds). So far, the few I have taken out are GREAT.
I am thinking I also I stopped weighing because it was the high numbers I wanted, not the huge taters. But that's just me. Here are some helpful ways to know if you are on target from what you sowed, reaped and length of beds.

THIS next is great. So if you had 50 feet of row (2x25) according to them you should have had (they use a 100' row as measure) 100 lbs of potatoes of sweet or Irish (not sure what that type is). So you were very very close to their expectation.
