Not snug at all. There are gaps at both ends of every board attached to the wall frames. You can see that easily at 8:23 in the video. Bugs, air, wind, rain, mice, mosquitoes - you name it - can get in and out through those gaps.

LauraD, I think you have that right. I was thinking along the size: "snug as a bug in a rug". Not the facts of air- or bug-tight.

Bugs, air, wind, rain, mice, mosquitoes - you name it - can get in and out through those gaps. I thought a few dollars worth of tarpaper would have made a world of difference.

The statement at the end - "If it rots away in a year, we don't care." Sort of makes the video moot. Maybe it's just me, but I'd never build anything I wouldn't expect at least 25 years life from. I don't like wasting my energy.
