I've gotten my order, too. I can't wait to be able to get my hands in the dirt. My order was messed up and ended up coming in three shipments. I have THREE packs of the Dark Purple Opal Basil, and the Lemon Balm!

I ordered a ton of seeds from Seeds from Italy. My sister had such good luck with them and sent me some seeds 2 years ago. They give you an abundance of seed as opposed to 25 seeds that some companies send you here when you order specialty or organic items. I had excellent luck 2 years in a row with these seeds under some of the toughest growing conditions I have ever experienced. Huge germination rate and delicious harvests. I spent approximately $90 of which some of that as shipping with these guys. But I expect to have enough seeds for at least 3 years of each seed type except for two tomatoes. Mostly organic. www.growitalian.com/?mc_cid=e603528f62&mc_eid=5679739df2 And from JOHNNY's. Pretty much all organic. I still have 2014 seedsfrom Johnny's that still have a 90% germination rate!!! 5 years! Again they were organic. That made me re-order from here. Spent just over $100 but again some was shipping. Johnny Seeds gave me enough 2014 seed of most items for 3 years, basil, corn and beans for 5 years. Now I need to lay out a planting plan for the 29 raised beds. I had such an attack of Japanese beetles that I'm trying to decide what to do. After we pulled our crops, I put fresh non-sprayed straw deeply over the beds. The snow is now packing that down. My thought is to put black plastic sheets over the straw and cut slits into the plastic to plant all of my seedlings starts. I would put some clean soil is mix into the holes before I put the seedlings in. Then I can use row covers if needed or simply spray the plants for this year's onslaught attack. Even with our cold here which goes to -30F chill factor and -20F actual temps fairly often, and with the beds frozen solid right now, they say the Japanese beetle grubs survive. I am concerned they will simply climb every stalk/seedling and start the cycle over.

( raised beds are 4 x 8 or 4 x 12 so these will fit nicely). I had ordered them when the vegetable beds were still in the ground before I injured my knee. They are in a box and ready to go and I can just unfold them and tack them down.
