Does anyone make Friendship Bread? I used to make it. I am thinking about making a starter. When my kids were home they loved it. It was also very handy to have to make cakes for bake sales and gifts.

I have the instructions for after you have the starter, but I don't have the starter recipe

Friendship Bread Starter
1-0.25 oz pkg active dry yeast 1/4 C warm water (110) degree 1 C all purpose flour 1C white sugar 1C milk
In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in water, Let stand 10 mins.
In a 2qt glass or plastic container Combine 1c flour, and 1C sugar. MIx thoroughly with a fork.
Cover loosely and let stand at room temp until bubbly. COnsider this day1 of the 10 day cycle. FOr the next 10 days handle starter according to instructions.
There are dozens of recipes for using starter online.
