Just wondering from where you all order your organic seed potatoes? I have had great luck with all organic seeds from Johnny's (still using left over 2014 season organic basil, bean and corn seeds with excellent production). But I have never ordered any organic seed potatoes. I have always used my own left over organic potatoes from the prior year or bought a couple of bags of organic potatoes at the store (for MUCH cheaper than the catalogs are showing) and have had good luck but slim choices on types.
We do like reds and Yukons and usually I have enough but this year I think we may eat a ton of our crop. Still going strong on eating all types.
SO does anyone order them and if so from where? Thanks! (bless feather that I had plenty of garlic to plant in fall).

I had to change over to more scab resistant varieties than the tried and true varieties that are sold locally. So I went with Fedco because of its northern position on the planet. Also considered Johnnys. I just love Fedcos catalog. Sort of like reading the label on a bottle of Doc Bronners.

I don't look for organic seed, so I guess I shouldn't really answer. But I'll add my two cents I found the best prices for seed potatoes at our local discount grocery UGO and at a rural grocery/gas station. But that was a serendipitous chain of events where I found myself in the right place at the right time.
