Believe me! I am gritting my teeth as I type the word URINE!
In my current state of ANGST, I so tempted to use another, less “socially correct” word.
What is the BEST FORMULA for removing the odor of cat urine from fabric?
Perhaps FIRE?
Normal laundry efforts have not touched it.

Baking soda. Sprinkle it on dry. Brush off later.

I use white vinegar in a spray bottle. Soak the area pretty good, let it sit a while, then rinse. I think it's the acidity that does the job.

Tallpines, when (being hopeful) you find a cure, please let the rest of us know what worked.

After washing twice I gave up and left the comforter outside then in the garage. After two years I washed it again. No more smells.
