Pretty sure he has a hernia. The problem is that when he urinates it run backwards along his belly and drips off his testicles and down his back legs. He seems to be fine otherwise. Eating well, normal activity. He will be meat. I am. Keeping a close eye on him to make sure he doesn't get an abscess or other infection. Suggestions? Advice?

Pictures? Normal penis and opening? Sounds like the opening is in the wrong place.

My guess is Pizzle rot, and he will need to be treated, or it could be Urinary Calculi and he will need to be treated, I have known folks to have it but have never had to deal with it myself, please read up on them and get a little education, might even have vet look at and help you the first time and watch every thing he does so you can do it yourself next time, (talking about the pizzle rot in last sentence) you have to cut off part of the end of penis.....Also read what causes them so you can figure out if what you might be doing is part of the problems (high protiens)...hope this helps and keep us posted so we can ALL learn from you....

If it is a hernia, he will grow out of it. At least up to the point that you can roast him.

Tomorrow my friend who is a zoologist will be here. I will take a picture and plan to send it to our new vet. See what she thinks. DH is gone and I am here alone. So waiting until I have an extra set of hands. He is eating well and acting normal. He is just wet all the time. Think that would be irritating.
