I now have three structures that have been framed out with pallets that I collected for FREE. The first picture is our first chicken coop, when we only had six hens. Well we quickly outgrew that so the second pic is the framing of the larger chicken coop. Thirdly is the goat barn that I just finished. All three buildings are finished on the exterior that you wouldn't guess it was pallet construction until you looked on the inside. The more of these I do, the quick I can put them together. Not planning on building anything else for awhile. I guess that is unless the lovely wife want 20 or 30 more birds!

I use a lot of pallet wood but I deconstruct them first most of the time. Most of my sheds are made from the wood. I also use a lot for interior trim and wainscot. Whitewood and oak....James

There is a hidden village SW of here , all the houses are made of pallets. They are nailed to studs but otherwise they are strictly pallets. Owner of the land they were built on said it was a pretty sorry way to live. @macmad, your buildings look neat!

We've used pallets for everything from a compost bin to the decorative range hood in my kitchen. And that range hood is my favorite feature in the house! And you can't beat the price. It's the ultimate in upcycling!
