Yep, and it's a hopeless addiction, too.
I've loved horses (particularly wild horses) my entire life. My mom (who is NOT a horse lover) said I was horse crazy from the time I was a baby. When I was 2, I was put on one of my uncle's ranch horses, fell off and was kicked in the forehead. My mom says that was probably what damaged my brain and caused me to be horse crazy. I think maybe I was just "imprinted".

Me too. (Loving horses, not getting kicked!) As was my grandfather.

If being horse crazy is a vice, I'm ok with that. There are a lot of worse things to be!

Well, I had to pause that midway through to go and grab a tissue... So heartwarming... and the look of utter happiness and joy on that gentlemans face was so uplifting and touching... Horses are very special indeed... I guess, really all of our animal friends are... Thanks for sharing...

Wonderful, though bitter-sweet, video. That look on his face...that says it all.

I love that video, what joy that horse brought to that man. Only three days before he passed. How blessed he was. I was raised being around thoroughbred race horses. My father owned a few in his lifetime. He was also their trainer and started the raises with his bugle. That was a l long time ago. It was so exciting to go to the track and pet all the horses, with pockets full of carrots. I did ride for a long time, until I took a major fall off of a horse I trusted. I did get back on, but was frightened from that fall. I tried many years later and the horse took off in a gallop. That ended my riding days. I do love horses though🐴
