Here it is so humid that any dry mineral mix attracts moisture and becomes salt soup in a day or two. Since I usually only feed hay, adding the minerals to each days ration was not possible.
Then someone mentioned the Replamin Plus Gel. Now each year, when rainy season starts both the horses and goats are switched to a plain salt block and get their minerals from the Gel. The goats get a few alfalfa pellets once a week with the gel in it and the horses get it 3 times a week.
I used to just squirt it directly into the goatsl mouths but eventually settled on the pellets, which they eat up immediately, as easier. When I bought the right gun, it is easy to do.

here to stay, interesting, I've never used RPG with my goats. They do have loose minerals year round in the barn and in their shelter. Do you copper bolus your goats as well?
