Shrimp Alfredo
2 lbs of egg noodles cooked in a big old pot of boiling salted water. While heating the water, start the alfredo so it is all done at the same time.
once the water boils, it only takes 7 minutes until the noodles are done.
1 stick of butter 2 large cloves of garlic chopped finely milk to thin 2 8 oz packages of cream cheese 1 cup of parmesan cheese 2 lbs of cooked cleaned shrimp
Cook the garlic in butter then add in the cream cheese, milk to thin, add the parmesan, salt to taste, when it is all saucy, add 2 lbs of cooked peeled de-veined and tail-less room temperature shrimp.
Try not to cry that it is SO GOOD.

Hey! That's my recipe! Love, love , LOVE that stuff! Even without shrimp if absolutely necessary. I stole it from you. It's like mac & cheese with a different cheese, and oh so creamy! It would work well with canned chunked chicken too. This is my go-to meal for DH and youngest son, their favorite. DH is now very happy.
He was standing in the kitchen when we started cooking. He asked me, why are you teaching me to make this? I said well, someday I might get a cold and be stuck in bed and you'll have to cook something for me. He says, yes but you'd want a spinach casserole. (so true) But, if you get sick, he says, then I'll make you a hamburger instead. Because a hamburger is the common cure to the common cold. I laughed so hard this morning. The food was gooooooood.
