G'night aussiedarren! Haha - it is after 11PM Thursday evening here at the moment. I am assuming it is somewhere in the afternoon on Friday at your place? Such beautiful pictures... And thanks so much for sharing... Here I go probably sounding ignorant - but did you fashion the blades/handles/both? I anxiously await your reply and more info... ~Mari

Mari-in-IN,Yep spot on just after 1PM on Friday, lunch break at work. I start with a sheet of steel and an idea, everything from there i make, including the denim micarta on the kitchen knife. The timber on the Truffle tool was out of my wood pile (native Cyprus) and the timber on the hunting set actually comes from some lining boards at my church from the last renovation we did (Tasmanian Myrtle).

Thanks folks, I love to share, the good lord gave me the ability to craft with my hands and I love the look it brings to someone’s eyes when you hand them a completed piece. Made a bunch for all the Food Ministry volunteers for the church last Christmas, a sermon that our pastor made about using your God given talents to help others really spoke to me, felt that tap on my shoulder that this was directed to me. I’ll share the picture of them on Monday when I’m back at work, hard to do a share of Facebook photos off the iPad I use at home.

Very nice work. Joebill over at Tom's (Country Conservatives, another Proboard) does some knifesmith work. Always amazes me how somebody can take a piece of steel and make a tool that is good-looking, but functional.

To me the good looks comes from the functionality, working on a couple that are more artistic at the moment and they are taking a long time as I’m not naturally artistic.
