Yeesh. It's been in the mid-70's here mid-day. Saturday night's low was 50', with predictions of upper 40's an hour south in the hilly lake country.

bluemingidiot, That is just too hot. We have had a string of days in the 70's and low 80's. Weeks like this are why we live in Ohio!!!

Too hot for me. Survivable but barely. This is the perfect temperature for making yogurt. Heat the milk to 115 degrees, add some live yogurt cultures (unflavored plain dannon), let it sit for 24 hours, on the counter (at 100 deg F). If you like it thicker like greek yogurt, drain it for as long as you like through a fine cheese cloth or tea towel, then refrigerate.

bluemingidiot , That is just too hot. We have had a string of days in the 70's and low 80's. Weeks like this are why we live in Ohio!!! I can survive a Texas summer. I could not survive an Ohio winter. Probably not even an Ohio spring. 70s and 80s are March and April here.

bluemingidiot,You get used to it. I actually like the change of seasons. I am just about ready for Fall. Winter can be beautiful and snow can be fun. It is nice that Cale is here to feed the animals and get the wood in!

At my age people don't get used to things. Indeed, I often find myself unused to things I was previously used to.
Today it was 94°, the coldest high this month. The temperature will be back hugging triple digits at least for the rest of the month.
