Can anyone identify this plant/weed growing along the border of my lawn?

Thank you shellymay, that is what is growing along the edge of my property. It spreads fast and mowing it does not hurt it.

Looks like that is it! Thank you shellymay! An interesting and yet another poisonous plant on my property, along with the Yew and bittersweet nightshade. I saw a poisonous white caterpillar the other day too. Reading up on the history of white snakeroot, it looks like something very dangerous around cattle or anything you drink the milk of.

Are you sure the poisonous white caterpillar wasn't an albino monarch? I'm no expert but it seems mildly plausible.

Reading up on the history of white snakeroot, it looks like something very dangerous around cattle or anything you drink the milk of. Hi shin ! I wanted to thank you for posting the above. I'm glad I read your post before I went outside to unlock the coops this AM and spotted this... I didn't know at the time that it was a White Hickory Tussock Moth Caterpillar. I've been known to pick caterpillars up but remembered what you posted and figured it best to leave well enough alone until I did a search to reveal it's identity... Thanks again! ~Mari

That one sure is cute, why is it that the poisonous are either cute or colorful?
