Wow @dlskidmore, that is mind boggling beautiful!! I never quite got the tatting bug. I can do it, but I have to concentrate. I make too many mistakes and it is so hard to untie those knots!! I love the look of tatting probably more than knitting & crocheting. chickenista ... just your 2nd project ?!?!?!?!? I bet you learned to run before you walked! Love that pattern, what is it?

It is the Virus Shawl.. www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/virus-shawl---virustuchI love it. It is great fun to do. And crochet is my thing. Who knew? It makes me very happy. I even bought a bumper sticker. My ONLY bumper sticker. It says 'peace love crochet' with two fingers up, a heart and a ball of yarn with a hook sticking out.

I made up about 25 art spinning batts today. The last two days I have been making felted tea cozys, hot pads and dryer balls. So later this afternoon I started packing my car. Tomorrow I am taking two ram lambs to the butcher. If I have time I may do a bit more felting. I really enjoy playing with the felt.
On Tuesday I was using my picker and managed to rip open my ring finger knuckle. It was a deep, ragged cut. Today was the first day it did not throb. It appears to be healing well, but my finger swelled from the trama and I still cannot get my wedding band over the knuckle. Maybe tomorrow. I am always drawing blood, but usually I just get pricks.
I leave midday on Friday for the okanagon fiber festival. Setup on Friday afternoon. The festival runs Saturday and Sunday. I am taking my drum carder and fiber so that I can make more batts if I have some slow times. Looking forward to the festival. Always fun to see new ideas and visit with fellow fiber addicts.

K ketoriverfarm, have you ever thought about having a 'batt bar' at a festival? Let folks pick out fiber & you card it up for them. I've seen them at a few festivals ... usually with line of folks waiting their turn

MLF, I had not heard of a batt bar. But thanks for the tip. I'll see what my setup will be. I will report back next week.

That looks like it takes a lot of patience. I don't have much of that but I'm sure the end result will be worthwhile. Yeah, that piece took a couple hours, there are thirteen of those in a larger circle, and seven of those larger circles in the tablecloth. Then there is row 3 to tie it all together.
