I got myself a Christmas present. I ordered a loom for twining rugs. I have wanted to do this for years. Can't wait to give this a try. Anyone do twining? Any websites or books you have found useful?

I used to know a lady with the Columbia Weavers and Spinners Guild who made twined rugs from strips of denim she cut from old blue jeans but I've lost contact with her. They were very nice and wore like iron the way she wove and packed them. I know you'll have fun with your new toy.
I have a copy of The Shepherd's Rug but when I went to refresh my memory regarding the technique, it's about braided rugs made with roving then the braids were sewn together. Sorry. Will keep my eyes open.

I am enjoying my rug loom. I have made 3 rugs since Christmas. My DH built me an adjustable easel for my loom. It is easy and relaxing plus I am using up some ugly fabric. Fugly looks great all mixed together.
