Heard geese go over Saturday. Could not see them for the low clouds but could hear them headed south. Sunday I thought I heard Robins. Monday heard the robins again and saw the panther. it actually got out on the black top and rolled in the sun.

I saw three robins in our tree on Sunday - and this is still January!

Around here, many Canada geese and some robins never go south. Nice to see and hear, though those Canadas surely are messy in any large numbers, but not a sign of spring.

Canadian geese stay all winter in my part of Ohio. Robins have been here this winter too. Saw a bluebird a couple of days ago in the crabapple tree. I am going to put out some dried meal worms for him. It’s been a very mild winter here so far.

We have robins all winter here. Saw a big flock of flickers in the front lawn yesterday. Lots of Blue Jays and Jays. Been an easy winter so far....James

3 pm, January 31. 2020, there are half a dozen Gulf Fritillary butterflies and a few bees on the rosemary.

It's a gorgeous, sunny, 70° day and a whole gaggle of geese just flew over headed north.
