A bunch of young women, former students and some teachers I know through my work, just had babies, or are expecting between now and the end of summer. I've been looking through patterns, thinking to make a batch of bonnets or booties. Just so no one decides the kid who arrives in 9 months should be named "Corona".

These children that are born at that time, will they be called coronials? Corona boomers?

Hospitals know when there will be a mini baby boom by simply watching the weather. I'm sure you are right about the boom in nine months. Except, a snow storm surge in conception is usually not more than a week. I have a knit blanky ready. I'll have to make a couple of quilts also.
For anyone who makes things for charity families, you are forewarned.

I have a secret involving baby quilts I'm dying to tell. Promised to wait until after Dr confirmed, but with things are the way they are, (married) dd's Dr appointment keeps getting pushed back until it's safe to be out in public again.
Between you and me, looks like my deer hunting season is going to be interrupted.

Congrats to anyone actively planning family. Especially at this time as health stress grips the world..
Um..... Not to be a Debbie Downer... But having seen a lot of things that can go wrong with having children... With conception and gestation during times of medical issues or with medical issues, could lead to a lot of heart ache and loss..
For a time my mother sewed with a group that made "new born" kits for women in distress at time of birth. They also sewed burial shrouds for when needed.. Unfortunately most of these women were giving birth with chemical and other not so good life issues. It is a sad thing to think about, but a quite necessary part of life..
