I've never grown bananas before, that being said. I bought two plants yesterday. I was thinking about planting them in large pots and placing them in a sunny side of my house. I live in zone 9. Tips, tricks, advice?

They take a lot of water for their size. Please keep us posted on how well it does.

Have you tried Meyer Lemon trees? Great for your gin and tonics. But really, if life goes to heck in a handbasket, well I want to know I have vitamin C. We live in Zone 4-5 so I take them in every winter. Beautiful blossoms and easy to keep in a large container.
