With minimal contractor involvement on the remodel from here on out, things might start to return to normal. OF COURSE the countertop for the vanity is the wrong size and ugly as sin besides - nothing like it's supposed to look. So we're getting a different one. A delay, but as I said, not many people coming and going through the house anymore. What this means is that I can FINALLY try to get a handle on organizing things once again.
I'll post goals tomorrow - too much running around today. Really glad to be getting back to some serious cleaning and organizing!

Funny how time just keeps getting away from me. But yesterday, I was finally able to do something besides just keeping the visible stuff presentable. The remodeled/being remodeled area still looks like a construction zone and will for quite some time yet. But I'm okay with that. I figure if I could live with a detached kitchen sink and cabinets (containing buckets for the water) in my living room for two months a couple years back, having construction materials in a far less visible part of the house is nothing. Anyway, yesterday I finally organized the pantry again. And found yet another jar of Miracle Whip. Still good for a few months. I'm not a fan of Miracle Whip (we have a split marriage - husband loves MW, I love real mayo) but I'm going to sub it for mayo in some stuff. Actually I found several other things in the pantry that I thought I was out of. Note to self: Do NOT let the pantry get out of control again. I organized the kitchen drawers as well. Funny how utensils seemed to get up in the middle of the night and jump into drawers where they didn't belong. I'm happy to report all utensils are back in their proper drawers today. I cleaned the stove and microwave, and will start wiping down cabinet fronts today. I have to say, it's really nice to be able to find things again!
