We are having to lock the kids up at night. Not to keep them away from their mom, Nomo, but to keep them away from their grandmom, Troubles. That silly goat keeps feeding the littles! She's done this before.
Only wish she would feed cross-species. We would have had an easier time with the rejected ewe lamb. LOL
Anyone else have problems with overly generous does?

My togg will try to nurse them all if I let her! My AlpineXNubian will allow other babies to nurse while she is on the stand, but not otherwise too.

Will Troubles let the ewe lamb nurse while she is on the stand?

Nope, @bluerose, she doesn't do the cross-species thing. We swapped the ewe lamb to a neighbor. She gave us a gorgeous ram lamb who was to be our herd sire. Sadly, he bloated and died last week.
