What's your favorite tools these days fellows? And new ones you're really happy about?
I just got a flexible drill bit extension.. it's no good, a mistake, thought I'd use it to get into the nooks and crannies to drive the screws, but you can't put any pressure to hold it into the screw heads because there's not enough of it to hold onto where it meets the bit.
Figured out I just needed to buy some extra long screwdriver bits for my drill. The 12" longs should arrive in the mail in a couple of days, figure I'll be very happy with 'em and putting up some shelves more easily.

Fellows!?! Are ladies not allowed?
Anyway, never being a sensative flower, I'll give mine anyway. It's my new Vice Grip Clamp. For years I used C clamps but the vice grip is great for applications where you have to keep repositioning or have multiples.

Hubs got me my own tools for Christmas. It's what I asked for.... My favorite tool right now are a set of fence pliers. They are "L"-shaped. I pulled up the carpet on one of the rentals (the home I lived in until Freshman in high school). It is on a slab. Those things are the bomb in pulling up staples and nails!

My favorite tool is any implement that will help me do the job easily that I'm working on.
Notice I said implement - not tool - as I've been known to be pretty creative to get the job done

I seem to have a flashlight addiction. have an entire basket of them, and a box full, and a few others lying around other places.

Just got a battery powered chainsaw. Don't have a lot of need for one and the gas ones are a pain to start. Supposed to have 45 minute run time. That's more than my hands have, so that will work.

Fence pliers.. yes those look pretty fine for pulling up carpet staples. I might get pick 'em up myself. That BCS your walk behind tractor MeandTK ? I was all set to get a chain saw and looking at Stihls and those battery powered ones too.. then a lot of expenses came up so I just got some extra long blades for my reciprocating saw and am going to see how much I can deal with just with that first.

Yes, it's 30 years old. I bought it on Ebay, had it shipped down, and repowered it. I look forward to using it this year. I also look forward to getting an implement or two more, as time goes on.

This time of year with snow/cold/freezing temps I LOVE my quick disconnect for my hose's to water live stock, always important to unhook garden hoses and let them back drain or you will have a frozen ice cube in your hose...quick disconnects make this job easy/fast

Those extra long drill bits were as useful as I hoped!
The flexible one will go out with the next garage sale for a buck.
