She is healing well from the removal of her incisors. But I'm saddened by her frustration in trying to graze. It's towards the end of the season for grazing here and what grass there is is peach fuzz. Soon both girls will be shut up in their winter paddock as the ground will be too wet for them to go out to graze.
But next year it will be an issue where Tess, who can't graze any grass shorter than 8 inches goes out with Hollie who has her incisors. I plan to set aside a small area to let grass grow for something for Tess in the spring but that will be little and short lasting.
I think I need a Tess enrichment program that will give her some chew time without Holly, who is the food hog, getting it all right away. Any thoughts?

Hmm, maybe just rotation graze them, one on while the other is stalled.
Maybe you could do some soaked alfalfa cubes or timothy cubes for Tess to chew on. Not sure what I would do:-(. I'll think on it.
