Tonight, Jim Spencer on KXAN said an artic front coming the first week of February could be colder than the one we had last week.

I am ready for the ice age. been getting ready for it for 35 years now what gets me is that most people have no idea what ice age weather is at all, they just have assumptions

Super Bowl tickets prices are sliding. And there are indications it’s going to get worse.
Temperatures are expected to hover in the low teens (at best) and Minnesota Vikings fans having been pulled out of the market after the NFC title game loss, the pursuit of Super Bowl tickets has quickly become a buyer’s market, with little hope that something will change it (or the weather).

Well bluemingidiot, that info just ruined my day! Guess I'll have to make the most of the 54 degrees we're expecting tomorrow. But we do have to remember that it is January, after all! Stay warm everyone!

Tomorrow may not be tomorrow, but tomorrow will come for the prepared and the unprepared.
The artic front referred to in the OP will arrive Saturday through Monday depending on where you live. Enjoy!

That front hit us yesterday morning (Feb. 1st). Our high was 6. Today is a high of 14. Its winter in Wisconsin... and in late January/February that's just how it goes. As I tell myself every year, at least the cold temps keep our bugs small... and "foo foo people" from wanting to live here.

Why don't we have global warming in the winter?

Why don't we have global warming in the winter? sadly global warming was a scam actual warming is always associated with larger crop harvests and good times cooling trends are way worse and harder to get ready for. all weather is location based. look up your local weather at high solar cycles and at low solar cycles, only then will you get what is possible and likely where you live.

By this time of year you barely notice the cold. Even the single digits start to feel ok-especially if the wind isn't blowing. Today we have snow, but it is going to get up to 37 degrees which feels warm!!!

You are right. I think they underestimated the championship starved Eagle fans. Those guys are coming out like roaches after a rain.

Cloudless, soft blue skies with slight breeze. I am afraid that I would notice the cold, especially in the mornings.
