It is thundering and ice is hitting the metal roof....musical .....everything is closed down around due to the weather...hoping the power stays on.....
Mmmmmm....love the aroma of sliced jalapeno peppers and onions browning in butter to go in swiss steak for supper....and listening to thunder and rain/sleet falling...and the rain barrel tanks are running over, such a blessing...laugh when I think how hubby piped rain water to the cold water faucet in his bathroom...
Weather changes fast in Texas...LOL

Here is WI we are back to 'under 40 degrees F', big rains yesterday and the day before, water standing everywhere, now it is mostly frozen. Next week hopefully higher temperatures.

Interesting winter the say the least. Two weeks ago, in the 70's, now zero. Opposite on the east side of the country as I understand. Looks like our soft fruit crops may have been hit hard. Washington cherry crop may have suffered a 90% loss.

We had a good 1/4" of ice yesterday, and guess what we're expecting tomorrow? More ice!

We are getting some ice today as well. No appreciable snow this winter, but plenty of ice. It sure makes it interesting checking on the goaties.
