Non-stop rain is a downer but trees and plants need water. Sun can cause sunburn but it is so energizing. Wind can be dangerous but a soft breeze is cooling. Snow makes life harder but makes everything beautiful and magical.
But I can see no upside to hale. It's slippery, damaging and hurts like heck when it hits the tops of my ears. Baseball caps are not suitable for hale protection. Guess what it's doing outside...

so, I am in the lowest water year that I have recorded. if I don't get water this spring (does not happen very often) then likely the wells will run dry this summer I know that water in that form is hard on everything, but at least it is water.

The pretty factor is lost on me this year...

Hail and sleet... both terrible and useless. Hail here is just annoying, we don't get those monster balls I see on the net, yes it stings but it doesn't do any harm to anything not a seedling at least. spacecase0,you can have some of our water, wettest year here since 1957 (and every year is wet anyway)

so far I can't figure out how to get rain from other places...
I only get rain in the winter season, and so far I am at 9.6 inches for the winter. it is almost time for the rain to stop. it will either be the lowest rainfall year I have seen, or close to it. so I wonder if I should even plant a garden this year, I don't want to run the well dry. and if I do plant the garden, I should likely skip the long season corn I wanted to plant so much.
