Post your tips, accomplishments, instructions here. Let's encourage each other to get our entire homes in order. Much less stress.
For me: I'm working on getting rid of clothes and shoes I'm not wearing. Eating out of the freezer and pantry and taking stock of what I have before buying more.
What about all of you?

Since we're 85% sure we'll be putting the house on the market next spring, we're kicking decluttering and organization into high gear. Starting with the worst area, the basement. We've started before but gotten overwhelmed. No excuses now; we'll need the next 10+ months to get everything under control.
Current project is going through all the paint, grout, etc. that we've saved from every single project we've done since we bought the house - and I don't think there's a surface of the house we didn't touch in the remodel/fix it up project that has been our life over the past 7 years (there were some very good reasons this house was priced so far below the assessment). We went through and kept small amounts of paint for touch-ups, and have been drying out all the remaining latex paint with help from the sun (it's been unusually sunny and dry lately) and a bag of kitty litter (we finally ran out of sawdust). Our daughter-in-law was happy to take all the small cans of stain home with her - she's not sure what color she wants to stain the trim in their home. Grout? Every tile project has been a small one, and every package of grout was a large one. Happy to report those are gone (again, with the exception of keeping a small amount of each color in case a touch up is necessary). In my quest to get rid of unnecessary spray paint, I've been motivated to finish pressure washing and spray painting the last of the formerly disgusting plastic Adirondack-style chairs. Plus I found a half a can of "hammered aluminum" colored spray paint - the project I originally used it for (a bathroom waste basket) was looking sad and in need of another coat of paint. Goodbye, excess spray paint.
This is only the beginning. Stay tuned for more...and more...and more.

Lots of projects to keep you busy, Susannah. I'd like to hear how you will handle your grout. I'd like to regrout my tile floor, but wonder if their is a lazier way?
How did the spray painting of the plastic chairs go? Does it hold up?
I'm trying to clean quickly as I run outside to weed. Need to get back to weekly tasks so I don't fall behind.
