Does anyone have any experience with this? I bought it to plant around the base of a tree. I wanted periwinkle, but Lowe's didn't have that. Thought this looked so similar. Then I read on-line that it could climb trees. I'm in zone 7, and have never seen anything like this climbing a tree. I sure hope that it doesn't...

Yuppers - a pretty invasive plant. Green leaves that turn purple in the fall. Great under trees where grass won't grow. I'm in 7a with a lot of it here. To keep it out of trees, keep chopping it back, otherwise it's labor free.

I've planted it for ground cover in shade. I like the plant so far but it's a little slow to cover in my current climate. I think it can be pretty invasive further north.
