Would like to replace drivers side seat in my car. Googled and found several local places. Every single one had the same form to submit, then they would contact me by email. 2003 Honda Civic, how much is a seat like that? It's a very common color. Any ideas, on how to find that info?

Call a few wrecking yards and ask them.
The only trick to doing it yourself may be the airbags. Search on line to see what has to be done to do it safely. Once you get past the electronics, replacing the seat is a job that most handy people with a few tools can do themselves. Take a look under it and see what you'd have to unbolt to get it out and then decide how brave you are.

Even in a Honda, an 03 probably didnt have seat air bags... Correct but in their infinite wisdom the plugs on the seat belts could be tied into the computer ,so it is wise to find out before you pull a plug now days . Also a plug from another part may not be reckonised by the cars computer .

use this site.... www.car-part.com/Some 03's are air bag some not. It won't matter on changing out the seat, the air bag won't deploy.

Since this is more involved than I knew, how do I find someone reputable to do it. Arm rest also needs replacing.

I'd avoid a dealer and get a couple of bids from independent body shops.
Good luck!
