If you read up online, there is no advantage to storing batteries in the fridge or freezer.

If you read up online, there is no advantage to storing batteries in the fridge or freezer. I know there is a disadvantage of storing them in the oven. my summer indoor temps get up to 105F, and then refrigeration of the batteries actually dose help.

If you read up online, there is no advantage to storing batteries in the fridge or freezer. I've read that before too but it's what I grew up with so that's what I do. Plus, out of sight out of mind. I know exactly where they are and the kids leave them alone.

How do you store AA opened battery pkgs? Thanks. We store them the same way we store the size D batteries.

I too have read the bit about not gaining anything by storing batteries in the fridge, but that is where Mama puts them and that is where I find them.
I think those bozos who wrote the piece about "no advantage" have always lived in cool, A/c homes and never keep batteries for long.
