Ok, I Googled it this time (Hummingfrog anyone?) and come to find out - there really are Hummingbird Moths out there - by cracky! Yesterday late afternoon we were sitting out at our special area and had such a fun and very special time after this showed up... It hung out with us for quite some time. Every so often it would fly around the bushes and then buzz by each of us - my husband noticed that it would take the same path each time... Couple of short videos... Come to find out it was a White-lined Sphinx Moth. Talk about a totally cool time indeed. ~Mari

Wow...how cool is that? It looks like it’s flapping it’s wings a mile a minute!!! Very cool find there Mari. It’s pretty big, too!

Yeah, feather, shellymay, Woodpecker, at least for me, it really is the simple/little things in life that make me feel so blessed. You can hear it's distinct "hum" better in the second video. Especially when it buzzed me around the .34/.35 second mark. To think, I've been on this planet for 50 years and this is the first time experiencing one of these cool little creatures. I really hope to see one again - that is for sure. ~Mari
