I have had limited success in breeding, I always seem to get small litters, I think the first litter I got 2, the next litter I had 3 and this litter I had 4. The 4th one being either stillborn and died from unknown causes. This is all the same doe and same buck, is the incremental increases a sign that maybe she will start producing more with each litter?
I am using a Cali buck with a New Zealand White doe. I started with 2 does of the same lines and the second one would just not ever breed, I tried several times while the other one had already had 2 litters, so we ate her. I am hoping these 3 I will get at least one doe so I can raise it as a replacement, to increase my breeder pool. Any tips or ideas?

I'd try breeding her multiple times if you aren't already. Put her in with the buck in the morning, then again in the evening or at the latest, the next morning. The more times they breed, the better your chances are of a larger litter.
You don't want to go more than 24 hours though because that could cause two distinct ages.
It could also be your pair - either the buck or doe. You won't know unless you breed them to different rabbits.

She is due to be bred on the 5th, and I will try that, this time I did breed her twice, a couple hours apart, I will try what you suggested this time and see what happens. Thanks!
