I would love to make a wooden wall hanging with a Barn Quilt design.
Has anyone found a site with patterns that can be either downloaded or can be sized? Obviously, I don't want one 4' x 4', just a nice size for a bedroom wall.
Any links would be appreciated. I Googled Barn Quilts and all the ones I found were huge and I am not sure how to size them to more realistic dimensions.

Thank you Tallpines, I will check those out. I never thought about using an actual quilt pattern; this is something totally new for me.

I found one with a chicken! I collect anything with a chicken theme so I am going to give that pattern a try. There are so many to choose from; both TallPines link and the links for Pinterest.
Thank you everyone, I have a new project.

Mine is just going to be my favorite quilt block, which is also my business logo.

I just saw this thread. Here is a nice link for Lafayette County Wisconsin's barn quilts: barnquiltsoflafayettecounty.com/ We have a suitable barn but I don't want hordes of casual visitors coming in to see our quilt and check it off their list, like birders do. It's great if you live near the road but we're almost half a mile off over a ridge. Crafty Chick, I would think you could make your wall hanging any size you wanted and not have to worry about making it weatherproof. Sounds like a great project. Peg

My brother & I worked on two barn quilts this winter. They were different sizes and made of metal glued to foam board. We found quilt patterns his wife liked and just resized to fit whatever size he had. He bought white and blue aluminum and cut squares and triangles to fit, then on one we spray painted some yellow for a blue & yellow quilt pattern on a white background and the other one I spray painted some red for a red, white and blue pattern. He has worked in metal all of his adult life and thought it would last longer than painted plywood.
