I hope all of you are doing well in this crazy time we've had! Its been a strange year, in so many ways, but our horse industry in this area is just hugely booming right now! Shows started up with a vengeance a few weeks ago, and I'm anxious to get going to some soon!
I am up to somewhere around 60-62 horses. I have to count! So many have come in the past year I have pretty much given up trying to keep track of the exact number, I just care for each as it comes in.

Wow you really have a lot of mouths to feed & hooves to trim. Do you have all one breed or all kinds? Have fun at your horse shows. I would love to see pictures & hear what classes you show in. Good Luck

Hello! I own all breeds, from mini ponies to a giant Belgian gelding. I do some Ranch rail classes, trail class, cutting, reigned cow horse, and I dabble in Dressage and low level jumping. Lots going on!!

Boy, if I were your neighbor, I'd be at your house regularly, helping to groom horses. My last horse died in '90. My neighbor has 4 QH I can see when they are out on pasture but I haven't been invited to come pet them. I so miss horse smell and tease DH that he needs to find an additive for diesel fuel that will make that nasty diesel exhaust smell like horse sweat.

That's a lot of horses to keep up with! Your love for them must be tremendous. They sure are beautiful animals. I was raised on a little farm. I told this story already so won't go into much details.
My dad owned race horses, trotters. They were beautiful, but high strung! Only one won a race, "Gussy Wind" named after my Dads father. Those sure were the days!
How many do you have helping you around the ranch? That is a lot of horses to care for, but your love for them helps you a lot, I bet.

I like to rotate weekends so everyone gets a full weekend on every month, then one weekend day twice a month, and a full weekend off once a month. They all like their schedules:-). I love Thoroughbreds, I have a bunch of them:-).
