My house us being power washed this w/e. What product can be used to wash the concrete? It's black but it isn't oil. Sidewalks are the worst. House next door, had their driveway washed, and end result was so bright. Concrete on my porch was washed with bleach. Looks good; but needs another washing. House next door is empty; Realtor must have had work done. Concrete is usual white. Or, should be.

You could try the no rinse TSP. I've also had good luck using OxiClean.

I have no answer for you, but we visited family in Texas a few weeks ago. The neighbor across the street power washed their driveway every evening after work for about 4 hours a night. This went on for over a week, including weekends. It was 100º and humid outside, yet they thought it was necessary to powerwash their driveway! And, it wasn't that big of a driveway. I kept saying to my wife, "Can you imagine what the inside of their house looks like? It must be spotless!"

I kept saying to my wife, "Can you imagine what the inside of their house looks like? It was be spotless!" Kind of along the same lines, one of my grandmothers washed her driveway just about every day. No pressure washer, just blasted it with a hose. (And yes - her house WAS spotless; she got up at 5 every day to clean it.) Our son was blessed to have several grandmothers and great-grandmothers, and at two years old he came up with his own names/descriptions for each of them. That particular grandmother was "The grandma who waters her driveway." In answer to the original question (too late probably, as I see you were having it done this weekend) back when we had a concrete driveway, I think there were products made to clean concrete with a pressure washer. It's been awhile; we've had a red granite gravel driveway for the past 9 years so we aren't pressure washing driveways any more.
