Climate historians hunting for past temperature extremes have a new record low in the Northern Hemisphere — nearly -70 degrees Celsius (-93 F) was recorded almost three decades ago in Greenland.

The -30 F we get for a brief period of time most winters is more than cold enough for me, thank you. I can't even imagine what -93 would be like - nor am I curious enough to want to find out.
