I'm getting ready to try using some pickle crisp in canning my green beans. Anyone ever try this?? I'm not big on mushy beans, so I thought it would be worth a try. I'm not pickling them.... just normal canning in water.

Well I just saw this because I’ve been gone awhile, but yes I use Pickle Crisp for my fridge pickles, my processed pickles items, and my relishes as well. It makes a difference!

I just realized I never updated this. It didn't work on the green beans at all. I wonder if pickle crisp needs the acid from the vinegar to work...
