I ask because I've been using a combination of Cargill Black Onyx cattle minerals (they loved it, it's not available any longer), kelp, copper boluses and Selenium/E gel 4x a year.
Ours won't touch manna pro goat minerals or the last bag of cattle minerals I tried.
What are you using successfully?

ADM makes a mineral blend especially for goats that mine love and I also get the Redmond goat formulation when it's available.

No, mzgarden. Sorry. They've added several formulations or changed them to be particular to the species. I could kick myself for throwing away the label when I transferred mine to buckets. I just remember that it said it was for goats, having more copper than what sheep need. We have a vet supply place that delivers all over northern MO, southern IA--or did the last time I ordered from them which was just pre-Covid.

Hmmm. DH got a bag of Redmond's #10 Fine Premium Mineral Salt at a feed store where we don't normally trade. I didn't pay much attention to it until I had dumped it into buckets to make using it easier. On the back of the bag was a black edged yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it. Bedside that was the word WARNING. It said: "This product can expose you to chemicals including Silica Crystalline, which is known by the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm. For more information, go to p65warnings.ca.gov" I'm flabbergasted by this because the bag is plainly marked as OMRI listed for organic use. Why in this world would they permit toxic chemicals in something intended for food animals and for use on agricultural land to replace lost minerals in the soil, something farmers including ME would handle when it's supposed to be OMRI listed? I am at a loss as to what to do with this. DH paid around $15 for it but since we're not regular customers at that store, I'm hesitant to return it opened. Sure don't want to feed it to my animals! THERE IS SUPPOSED TO BE AN https:// at the beginning of that web address. Don't know why it didn't go into the post
