What copycat recipes would you make using homemade ingredients?

The two I've spent the most time on is Cambells bean and bacon soup and Kentucky fried chicken. There are lots of recipes posted on the net but nothing quite matches. Close though.

I have one for Rice-a-Roni then add chicken to make a heartier casserole.
Shake 'N' Bake
Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix. I make it with mayo and Greek yogurt, more herbs, less salt.

Three or so years ago we had opportunity to dry bread, and jar homemade bread crumbs... About 40 or so canning jars 2 liter size..
We make a sort of homemade Shake n Bake.. Homemade bread crumbs. Spices..
Maybe never exactly the same twice, but good enough for the price of the stuff in the boxes..
Next time I make a batch of homemade any meat, poultry, rub it will be formula #3.. As I have lost the recipes for formulas 1 and 2...

My kids all like to go to Chic-fil-a. I think it is ok but I can do without. However I did like the sauce for dipping the waffle fries in. I found a recipe that is better!
COPYCAT CHICK FIL A SAUCE Ingredients: 1/4 cup honey 2 tablespoons yellow mustard 1/4 cup barbecue sauce 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1/2 cup mayonnaise
DIRECTIONS: 1. Mix together and refrigerate for at least an hour.
