I am pretty excited, today is the day I bring Titan home. He is a 4 year old Percheron that I picked up off craigslist several weeks ago. He is malnourished and I gelded him immediately after I got him, but he is a soft, sweet boy and will be perfect for my hubby once trained. He has been at the vet for a while to calm him down a bit after he was gelded and I could get to know him some before bringing that large of a horse to my ranch. I have big horses, but Titan will be the largest one here once he fills out and grows some over time. Well, my Friesian/TB filly will be very big as well...but probably not Titan size! Anyway, here is a pic of my guy...

Looks like a nice boy! How tall is he? He is 16.3 and growing:-). The intro today was smooth as butter on a warm biscuit. Seldom have I seen such a great acceptance and kindness to a new horse.

My hubby is a big guy. Mostly though, I ride our horses, so Titan will be mine as well as his! I LOVE riding the big horses, it is such a neat feel.

What a lovely boy! And looks like great feet too. I've learned the hard way with the big boys, I always look at the feet first!

He looks like a really nice guy. I've had a couple of Percheron mares and always liked their personalities.

Update on Titan. Poor guy, he is learning the hard way that he isn't top guy around here! He came here all puffed up and with an inflated ego, I think he is pretty deflated about now:-). No harm done, but my geldings are tough group and put Titan right on down at the bottom of the herd in big hurry. My mares are pretending he doesn't exist, except for my two top TB mares that were both in heat when he arrived, but the geldings are keeping those mares away from Titan. Thankfully the big boy hasn't even tried to mount a mare, so for that I am thankful! He is gelded, but I don't want to push it since he is just gelded a month now.

I am having trouble posting any more pics...it doesn't give me the option on the top right side now to add a picture.
