I have a small (17") sculpture in clay that I'd like in bronze. It's a human figure with arms and legs so kind of a tricky one to cast.
Anybody here into making the wax/sand molds and pouring bronze?

Never done brass. Done some aluminum, melting old truck wheels using sand molds. We just used things we had, broken parts and some old cast iron trivets. Sweetie still uses one that looks like model T roadster. Red top, black body. I have seen it done at a foundry in Enterprise Oregon where they poured the bronze for Arnold Schwarzenegger. Ever been to Joseph Oregon and all the bronzes on main Street?
