A supermoon is a full moon or a new moon that nearly coincides with perigee—the closest that the Moon comes to the Earth in its elliptic orbit—resulting in a slightly larger-than-usual apparent size of the lunar disk as viewed from Earth. The technical name is a perigee syzygy or a full Moon around perigee."
And if there is any man on the moon, I guess tonight he would be a Supermoonman!
Isaiah 60:20
“Your sun will no longer set,
Nor will your moon wane;
For you will have the Lord for an everlasting light,
And the days of your mourning will be over.

July’s full moon is also called the buck moon, because the antlers on male deer are growing fast at this time of year. The supermoon, which was flush with amber and red tones, was 14,000 miles closer to earth than typical full moons.
Not to worry if you missed the July supermoon. There are two more supermoons coming in August, and another in September.
