Wondering what equipment others use to grind their dehydrated vegetables to a powder? I've been using a coffee bean grinder, but it's so small, it takes forever and by the time I'm done it's gotten very hot. It's old and I'm sure it won't last much longer so, in anticipation of replacing it, what do you use to grind larger quantities (like equivalent of 8 trays out of a dehydrator) of veg into powder? Thanks.

I try to break the pieces as much as possible then pulverize in a blender. I put a piece of plastic wrap over the top before I put the lid on to help keep the powder from coating all the interior surfaces and wasting the powder. Once in a while I have to put the powder through a sieve to be sure it's fine enough then reprocess if necessary.
I used to have an Oster that had small strong jars to fit the blade assembly. I really liked it because the jar kept the powder from blowing all over everything but I was limited to very small amounts at a time.

Most regular-mouth canning jars will fit on many blenders, including Oster.

Yep, but it was the power base that quit, not the container.
