I have a question and not sure how to ask it but i will try to make it understandable. When you twist off a sweet potato sprout and say it has 3 branches.Should you separate each branch and make 3 plants or leave them together as one, I usually leave them as one and if you do happen to break a branch off I assume that will be ok to plant too?

If it leaves the tuber as a single sprout and then branches after several inches, leave it as is. If the split is right where it emerges, divide it.
