Do any of you breed your buck to his daughters? I've got a buck and kept back two of his daughters with the intention of getting a new buck but got to wondering if anyone has every done this or has any ideas about this, good or bad.
These are just normal rabbits, no special breed or anything like that.

That is called line breeding. It's a perfectly acceptable practice in the rabbit world, and done quite often. In the show rabbit world it is done mainly to improve areas that the parent is strong in but the offspring might be weak in.

Rabbits can be inbred for many generations without any problem. I read somewhere that it's around 33 generations, but not sure if I'm remembering correctly, if not, I know it's close to that.
