And a New York Yankee to boot...
Don't worry. I lived for a while in the mountains of North Carolina where you could not swing a dead possum without hitting a still. The locals liked me much better than they liked the "city-southerners". It helps if you chew tobacco.

This is brilliant. And actually, you've done a really nice job! I clicked on the pic and blew it up, and you've gone to the trouble to follow and match the pattern. No seams, no edges, nice and neat.
Congratulations on your creativity!

I'm a Met fan though I don't follow baseball much. Everyone here loves the Yankees. I saw a couch on my neighbors lawn the other day and thought that was quite an odd spot for it. I guess they we waiting for trash day.

I got to the point a long time ago so that now I do not even notice it when I see, what up North would be considered indoor, furniture on the front porch or on the lawn.
It grows on you.

Good ol' Red Green. I remember the show where he put in a sunroof on his van with a sawzall. Well it looks like I got that beat.. I put a sunroof in my 1973 chevy pickup with 1970 Dodge Challenger taillights between the homemade flat bed and step bumper.. Then the kids painted it with left over house paint (multiple colors)... Yea I miss that truck...What a rust bucket, but it was fun...

It's the toilets as lawn ornaments that I don't like! Even with flowers in them.

You might be a Red Neck if your grandchildren have Camo Bibles. Yes it is true.
Your grand daughter wears camo to school. That is true also.
Your grand daughter shot her first wild turkey when she was 8. True..

You may be a Redneck if you and your wife think setting together in a Two Holler, full Moon, listening to Coyotes is romantic.

Duct tape is like the Force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the universe together.

In the military it was referred to as "100 mile per hour" tape. We called it that because we used it at what seemed to be a rate of 100 mph. We always took at least four or five rolls of it with us no matter where we went.

I miss baling wire. Baling twine has uses, but baling wire was awesome. When I first met my DH he had conniption fits over how much of my pickup was held together with baling wire. Yea, I think I was in my 20s before I realized trucks, tractors and just about anything that moved wasn't held together with baling wire.
